hello! i’m maggie
mom, newborn nurse, sleep consultant & Colic consultant
Dealing with colic can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. I’m Maggie—mom of three, a maternal-newborn RN, and a sleep and colic consultant who has been there. When my first baby suffered from severe colic and the doctors couldn’t pinpoint why, I took matters into my own hands. I researched, experimented, and learned how to better understand his discomfort.
Now, I’m here to empower you. I want to help you uncover the possible sources of your baby’s colic, guide you on how to confidently advocate for your little one with medical professionals, and share effective strategies to cope during those uncertain times until a diagnosis and treatment plan are in place.
Together, we’ll navigate this challenging journey with practical advice and honest support, so you can focus on what matters most— caring for your baby.

Life is about to get a whole lot sweeter
in the meantime, let’s make a plan

my colic philosophy
what our experience taught me…
- No, this isn’t normal. While crying is a natural and healthy way for babies to communicate, there’s a significant difference between the usual cries of a newborn and the cries of a baby who’s in pain.
- While our healthcare system often uses “colic” as a diagnosis, I see it as a sign that something else is at play. It’s a symptom that might point to underlying issues—like reflux, overtiredness, or overstimulation—that could be affecting your baby.
- There may not be a magic cure for your baby’s colic, but the aim is to find practical coping strategies that soothe your little one and bring back the joy in your home.
- Though this challenging phase won’t last forever, that doesn’t make it any less hard right now. The good news is you’ve found a supportive space. Take a deep breath, lean on this community, and let the journey of learning and healing begin.
